DHS Committed to E-Verify Implementation

On July 8, 2009, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Janet Napolitano expressed her firm commitment to the upcoming implementation of the E-Verify regulation. This regulation requires most contractors (and subcontractors) of the federal government to enroll in the USCIS  electronic Employment Verification program. E-Verify implementation has been repeatedly delayed but final implementation is set for September 8, 2009.
