E-VERIFY delayed for 3rd time until June 30, 2009 The Department of Defense, General Services Administration, and National Aeronautics and Space Administration have agreed to delay the applicability date of FAR Case 2007013, Employment Eligibility Verification regulation, until June 30, 2009. This regulation requires most federal contractors (and subcontractors) of the federal government to enroll in the USCIS E-Verify electronic Employment Verification program. It APPEARS that this will be the last delay and commencing June 30, 2009, federal agencies will begin including the E-Verify enrollment language in all contracts moving forward. |
