Associate Attorney Amanda B. Shipley is Associate Editor of The International Adoption Sourcebook, published by AILA publications.

This book is the first comprehensive resource covering international adoption issues and is an excellent guide for attorneys and those in need of up-to-date guidance in light of the United States' implementation of the Hague Convention. The new rules governing international adoptions are complicated. The International Adoption Sourcebook will simplify the process for adoptive parents and their children. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of The International Adoption Sourcebook will go to support the work of the National Center for Refugee and Immigrant Children, which is jointly sponsored by AILA and the U.S. Committee on Refugees and Immigrants. The book is available for purchase online at: http://www.ailapubs.org/adoption.html.
