Tocci addresses Wage and Hour topics with Department of Labor and Massachusetts Attorney General Representatives at Massachusetts Restaurant Association Seminar on October 13, 2010.
John Tocci addressed wage and hour compliance issues of particular import to the Massachusetts restaurant industry at an event held at the Massachusetts Restaurant Association offices at 333 Turnpike Rd., Suite 102, Southborough, MA on October 13, 2010. John was joined by George Rioux, New England Regional Director for the U.S. Department of Labor's Wage & Hour Division who addressed wage and hour compliance from the perspective of the federal enforcing agency and Lauren Goldman and Sherley Cruz of the Office of the Massachusetts Attorney General who addressed wage and hour issues from the perspective of the state enforcing agency. John addressed a broad range of issues relating to wage and hour laws, including government enforcement initiatives aimed at the restaurant industry, recordkeeping requirements, the most common employer mistakes and responding to audits by the DOL or AG. The panel also answered specific audience questions for approximately one hour and provided helpful written materials.
