Matthew Lee, founder of Tocci, Goss & Lee PC, represents numerous corporations and multiple industries in all areas of immigration law. The focus of his practice is aiding large national and international corporate clients obtain temporary and permanent employment visas for highly qualified foreign professionals. Prior to founding Tocci, Goss & Lee, Mr. Lee was an Assistant District Counsel for the United States Department of Justice, Immigration & Naturalization Service. In that position, he represented the Immigration Service in various administrative proceedings including deportation, removal, and political asylum hearings. Mr. Lee also served as a military attorney in the United States Navy’s Judge Advocate General’s Corps on active duty, and currently is a reserve military officer serving as an instructor and the Executive Officer for the Naval Justice School in Newport, Rhode Island.
Mr. Lee is a graduate of the Washington College of Law, American University Law School (JD 1992) and Syracuse University School of Management (BS 1987). He was admitted to the state bar of Massachusetts in 1993. He is also a member of the bar of the United States District Court, District of Massachusetts and the United States Court of Appeal for the Armed Forces. Mr. Lee continues to serve as a member of the Board of Directors for The Cape and Islands Workforce Investment Board, the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce and is a former member of the Board of the Cape Cod Technology Council. Mr. Lee is a recognized expert on the H-2B Temporary Non-Agricultural Workers Visa program having contributed to the Massachusetts’ Continue Legal Education – 2005 Immigration Handbook for immigration practitioners as well as providing legal counsel on the subject as a member of the Governor’s (Massachusetts) H-2B workforce committee. Further, Mr. Lee has advised numerous Congressional, municipal, business and community leaders on various immigration issues as well as appearing on national, regional and local media outlets including NPR and FoxNews. He has provided his expertise at immigration seminars and lectures as a guest of the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s Annual National Conference; American Institute of Architects, Barnstable County Bar Association, Boston Bar Association, Cambridge Committee for Public Counsel Services, Massachusetts Bar Association, Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, Norfolk County Bar Association, Northeast Human Resources Association, the Provincetown, Hyannis and Martha’s Vineyard Chambers of Commerce as well as the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce.
