Processing Times

 USCIS Vermont Service Center is currently processing applications for Extensions of H-1B Status and for Change of Status to H-1B applications in two months.

 USCIS California Service Center is currently processing applications for Extensions of H-1B Status and for Change of Status to H-1B in two months.

 USCIS Texas Service Center is currently processing I-140 Immigrant (Alien Worker) Petitions filed on or before October 2, 2010 for EB-1, October 9, 2010 for EB-2, and September 30, 2010 for EB-3.

 USCIS Nebraska Service Center is currently processing I-140 Immigrant (Alien Worker) Petitions for EB-1 in 4 months; for EB-2 in 4 months, and for EB-3 in 4 months.

 USCIS Texas Service Center is currently issuing Approval Notices for Permanent Resident Applications (I-485) filed on or before December 3, 2010. USCIS Nebraska Service Center is currently issuing Approval Notices for Permanent Resident Applications (I-485) filed on or before January 8, 2011.

 PERM Processing: DOL is conducting final review of applications with a priority date of May 2011 or earlier. Audits: December 2010. Standard appeals: January 2009. Government error appeals: current. However, our office is currently receiving certified PERM applications in two to four months.

Processing Times listed here are based on information received from the American Immigration Lawyers Association as well as our own experience. They are regularly updated. Please remember that CIS and DOL processing times are subject to drastic changes depending on Government resources and priorities.
